Poetry about animals: On the beaches of Gabon

On the beaches of Gabon

there is a magical place,

where many animals,

come to play.

The humpback whales

move their heavy tail,

so that the hippos

surf the waves.

Under the palm trees

the elephants bathe

getting wet with the trunks

they look very elegant.

The monkeys play with coconuts

they throw them into the sea,

but there are two ready dolphins

that take them out again.

The funny iguanas

are racing,

and the crabs watch them

to see who comes first.

On the beaches of Gabon

is already getting dark,

and all the animals

are going to rest.

But two owls have arrived,

they do not go to sleep,

and they have called two owls,

to play parchís.
