Poem to the Magi by Rubén Darío

-I am Gaspar. Here I bring the incense.

I come to say: Life is pure and beautiful.

There is God. Love is immense. Todo Everything I know for the divine Star!

-I'm Melchior. My myrrh smells everything.

There is God. He is the light of the day.

The white flower has its feet in mud.

And in pleasure there is melancholy!

-I'm Baltasar. I bring the gold. I assure you that God exists. He is big and strong.

Everything I know by the pure star

that shines in the diadem of Death.

-Gaspar, Melchior and Baltasar, shut up.

Love triumphs and your party invites you. Cristo Christ resurfaces, makes light of chaos

and has the crown of Life!
