All children enjoy the tales of princes and princesses who live in castles ... and now, thanks to this simple children's craft, they can recreate their adventures in a beautiful and ecological cardboard castle.

With a cardboard box, paintings and imagination we can make a nice cardboard castle for our children to play, in addition to learning the importance of recycling and taking care of the environment with recycled crafts.

Materials

  • Cardboard box (better large, but any size and shape)
  • Scissors or cutter
  • Thin string
  • Colored watercolors
  • Black marker pen
  • Wax paints
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Zeal

How to make a cardboard castle

1 Choose a cardboard box of the size you prefer, ideally large and square in size. Remove the bottom and top cover, leaving a square. Mark four equal rectangles, one on each side of the top, and cut them to make the towers.

2. In the 'holes' of each side mark and cut smaller rectangular notches to make the castle's battlements.

3. At the bottom of one of the sides, draw a door and cut it out. Using scissors or a punch, make two holes in the top of the hole and in the cut piece of cardboard. Pass a thin rope through each hole and tie them to make a drawbridge.

4. Use watercolors, colored waxes and marker to draw the details of your castle. Ready to start playing !.
