Learning Disorders (TA) are a set of disorders that cause difficulties to develop basic knowledge in skills such as reading, writing or calculation. Only in Spain, about 385,000 primary school students suffer from a disorder of this type.

It must be made very clear that having TA a TA has nothing to do with the intelligence of the child, but that the origin of these difficulties is due to neuronal alterations in specific areas of the brain. Therefore, both parents and teachers have to be aware that there are children who, deliberately, do not get bad grades or have a bad attitude in class. The main learning disorders in children

In many cases, although these disorders are directly related to the school environment, most of the time they go further, since going badly in school ends up affecting their day-to-day life and of their families:

conflicts at home tend to increase due to the constant bad grades. The self-esteem of these children is affected because they do not know how to combat their difficulties and also increases the parents' concern for the future of their children. These are the main learning disorders in children: -

Dyslexia:affects reading ability, since these children have difficulties to distinguish and memorize letters and to structure sentences appropriately. In order to determine this disorder, the symptoms have to remain for at least 2 school years.- Dysgraphia:

this disorder involvescomplications to develop writing correctly, since it affects the psychomotor capacity and the coordination of movements. -Disortography:

is also related to writing but focuses on thedifficulty in structuring the language grammatically. That is to say, the child does not manage to follow the grammar rules despite having learned them previously. - Discalcúlia:

is the difficulty to learn basic numerical concepts and perform calculation exercises. It is important to keep in mind that most of these disorders co can coexist with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD),which affects 2 children per classroom. This one has a great controversy because its main symptoms, lack of attention and hyperactivity, can easily be confused with other disorders. To get rid of doubts, in the market there are already diagnoses based on brain mapping that identify accurately if the child has ADHD or not.
