Children are magical and give you unique snapshots, no matter how old they are. The best pictures of children are always available outdoors, with natural light and as spontaneous as possible. The photographer Olga Cola gives us some advice to parents, because they are photographs that can be done by them anywhere.

Tips to make the best pictures to your children

If it is true that a good photographic team and the domain of Photoshop, but apart from that, nowadays practically all of us have cameras to portray our routine, travel, family, personal events, etc., following some tips, you can get to get wonderful snapshots.

- Do not force the children to pose. The best thing is to photograph them in their environment and doing normal or daily activities. The most important thing is that they feel like they are part of a game, relaxed and without pressure. The photograph will win naturally.

- The right angle. One of the best angles to photograph children is to measure up to them. For this reason, the best thing is that you feel comfortable and sit on the floor.

- Use the zoom. It serves to bring the image of what we want to photograph closer. Do not take pictures of large spaces to portray children, you will lose expressiveness.

- Cuts and frames. The child does not always have to come out completely. The objective of the photo (child) can be cut by one of the sides, it does not always have to be in the center of the photo.

- Flash. With children it is better to do without the flash. The flash of light tends to frighten them and their luminous impact forces them to change the expression on their faces. If you are outside with natural light, you will not need flash. At home, make use of ambient lighting so you do not have to use the flash.

- Imagination and creativity. Be creative, not always established is the only ideal. Taking pictures from bottom to top, top to bottom or with air spaces (rest of the image other than the child) brings something different to the snapshot.

- Light and color. The best moment of natural light is when the sun is not overhead, that is, right in the middle of the sky. The natural light in the photos is more beautiful when they are done in the early morning or at the end of the afternoon.

- The ideal moment. Children usually have lunch and sleep times, and therefore they have a better or worse mood at certain times. The ideal is to take the pictures in the moments when they have awakened from the siesta or after having eaten. It is important that they feel comfortable.

- Entertainment. Having objects that are liked by children is recommended to entertain them during the photo session. Your favorite toys or something that you have somewhere that you like a lot helps in the development of the session.

- Looks at the camera. If you want the children to look at the camera, you simply have to talk to them, ask them something or ask them to show you something. The goal will capture your full attention.

- Babies and newborns. To photograph very small babies, the ideal is to place them in some way and somewhere they can be comfortable or in someone's lap (without that person in the photo).

- Clothing and accessories. Yes, it is true that the child's clothing contributes something. Everything depends on the effect you want to achieve and the taste of each parent. I recommend colors according to the place where the snapshots are made.

All these tips also serve to take pictures inside the house to children, not only outdoors. And, of course, patience is fundamental.
