The lion, a poetry with values for children

A lion of great size

boasted about the jungle,

proud and stretched

of his pretty mane.

A very long mane,

ash and sand color,

with a shimmering shine

as soft as silk.

He has felt very thirsty

he approaches the river,

the water that is so fresh

has been a great relief.

After looking for the shade

of a large and green walnut,

you get the fresh scent

the place is ideal.

After a while he dreams that he ate a sweet and crunchy bread,

already smells like a hot oven

has started to drool.

Two very naughty squirrels

have come to his side,

without hardly making noise

his hair has been twisted.

The lion when he awakes

has a headache,

feels that he is going to explode

drinks fresh water again.

The squirrels in the tree

the two of them shout, dancing,

making their palms collide

together they are celebrating it.

The roar of the lion

is heard throughout the jungle, ens a deafening noise

coming out of the caverns.

No one laughs in the jungle,

they are all scared,

never a loud roar

that was heard there.

The lion is always the king,

with manes or with braids,

and with its strong roar

it makes it clear in the jungle.
