However, some children find obstacles when they relate to their peers, and because of this adaptation problems may appear in the future and with this, difficulties in the growth of their self-esteem.

Why does it cost you to make friends?

One of the reasons why children may find it difficult to make friends is because they do not yet have the maturity level to be able to establish a relationship with another child. This optimal maturation will appear after three or four years. The influence of the child's personality must also be taken into account. That the child is extroverted or shy will affect their way of relating to others.
