What is autism in children?

Autism spectrum disorders are disorders of neurobiological origin, which are characterized by manifesting signs in three nuclear areas:

- The area of communication.

- The area of behavior.

- The area of the social relationship.

These characteristics are common to all people with autism, but as we speak of a spectrum, that means that each of the people who have autism will evolve in each of these areas in a different way. That is why it is said that there is not one person with autism equal to another, but that each of them is different from another.

What is the origin of autism

Yet el the clear origin of autism is not known. In the latest research the origin points to a large genetic load, but it is not yet known in which gene or in what genetic mutation is the origin of autism.A child is born with autism. What happens is that the signs of autism do not manifest until later, maybe until 10, 12, 18 months, these characteristics do not manifest themselves. Maybe in a person with Asperger, we find adults who until the age of 50 are not diagnosed with autism because until that moment they have not been able to put that name to their particularity.
