5 different and healthy dessert ideas

1- Yogurt with nuts. Yogurt, natural and sugar-free, is a dairy that is easy to digest since, being fermented, it contains hardly-lactose, even being suitable for intolerant. The presence of lactic bacteria is beneficial for the intestinal microflora, helping to maintain its balance. The bacteria present in the gastrointestinal tract are in constant communication with the immune system, constituting an important part of the body's defense system. The nuts provide fat-soluble vitamins, and minerals, such as selenium, magnesium, copper or zinc and mono and polyunsaturated fats, the healthiest. They also contain phytonutrients, with antioxidant function, beneficial for the health of the cells. Unfortunately, this dessert is not suitable for children allergic to cow's milk protein (APLV) or allergic to nuts.

2- Smoothie. This name is given to the mixture of yogurt, usually frozen, beaten with fresh or frozen fruits. To all the benefits that yogurt brings, you add the ones provided by the fruit, vitamins, minerals and fiber, especially, so it becomes a very complete and appetizing dessert, especially when the heat tightens. This option is not suitable for the APLV.

3- Fruit smoothie. In a very similar way to smoothie, the fruit smoothie contains milk and fruit, and therefore fiber, vitamins and minerals, which, like vitamin D and calcium from milk, are very important for growth. Containing milk, it is not suitable for lactose intolerant or allergic to cow's milk protein.

4- Fruit foam. You can easily make this dessert with a powerful blender and frozen fruit. If you use sufficiently mature fruit, such as strawberries and banana, and you get enough air into the mixture, it is not necessary to add sugar so that it becomes one of the children's favorites since it resembles ice cream. As a precaution so that it does not rust, a spoonful of lemon or orange juice can be added.

5- Banana and oatmeal cookies. The combination of ripe bananas with baked oatmeal in the shape of a cookie can turn into a sugar-free candy that you can use when you want to offer something more exotic. In the same way, pancakes can be made with this same mixture, but adding an egg. In this case the dessert would not be suitable for allergic to eggs.
