Poetry with rhyme for children: At recess

At recess time

I always take an apple,

Maria eats a banana,

and Lucia an orange. Nos

Vicente looks at us sadly,

has forgotten his breakfast, nos and asks us to share tro a piece of each one.

Don Ramón has come up le and gives him a peach,

a little pineapple juice,

and a sausage sandwich.

How lucky Vicente is!

He forgets breakfast,

we all give him a little

and he eats more than any.
