Elves are those little characters who help Santa Claus to have all the toys ready so he can distribute them at Christmas. In Guiainfantil.com we show you how to make an elf mask in a very simple and homemade way.

It is a recycling costume because the mask we have made with a cardboard plate, a very original and fun recycling craft.

Material:

  • Cardboard plate
  • Red and green cardboard
  • Scissors and cutter
  • Marker pen
  • Adhesive tape
  • Pencil
  • Paint brush
  • Brush
  • Stick
  • Glue stick
  • Glitter

How to make, step by step, an elf mask of Santa Claus

1. We begin by painting the entire plate with flesh-colored paint. Then we paint the eyes of our elf with a pencil and cut them with a cutter.

2. We draw and cut the hat on green card. After we draw a crown on the red card, we mark the beginning and end of our crown using the shading we just created. We cut it

3. We draw and trim our elf's nose. We will create a spring for the nose by cutting two rectangular pieces of red cardboard. We will fold them one on top of the other, superimposing them, until the spring is ready. Then we hit the nose with the dock.

4. Now it's time to draw some decorative motifs on red and green cardboard and cut them out. The moment comes to give life to our elf by uniting all the pieces.

5. We draw the mouth of our elf with a black marker, we cut triangles in red and green to create an original beard and we give it a magical touch with glitter of stars. To finish we fix the toothpick with adhesive tape on the back of the plate. And we have our elf mask ready!
