A poem to teach children the geometric figures

The geometric figures

went to play one day,

and together they decided

to show their great worth.

They built a house,

the triangle was the roof,

the rectangle the door,

the windows two squares.

And the circle he was looking at

he was sorry

because none of the three

in him had thought.

That's what he believed,

because at the time they said:

"You can be a great sun"

And everyone had fun.

Then the trapeze and the rhombus

to play also joined,

and around the house

the landscape embellished.
