Fantasy is the ability to imagine things that do not exist in reality. We adults lead a stressed life, immersed in work and daily occupations we forget to dream, and it is the children who remind us how wonderful this world is.

Stories develop children's imagination

Letting the imagination fly, giving free rein to our creativity can be very fun, since in this world everything is allowed and it can be an escape valve of reality and a way to perform what we dream. But also, it makes it easier for children to develop their imagination:

1. The ideal story. Stories, poetry, adventure stories aimed at the world of children, are ideal resources to teach values, should always be written in a clear and simple language sin, without this meaning that it is trivial, and if they are accompanied by eye-catching illustrations, sure they will become good travel companions for our little ones.2. Transmitters of fantastic stories.

If someone told us that they had seen an ant the size of a cow, climbed the sky flying in a winged cat, or saw an elephant driving a truck, we would think it was crazy, but if someone reads a story to us or tells a story in which the ants are gigantic, cats fly and animals drive vehicles, it will not surprise us, because we all know that in stories there is fantasy, we have it assumed and there everything fits, things appear and disappear art of magic and our will, because fantasy reaches where it reaches the imagination of each one. 3. Teach to dream. Although the stories are part of reality, they have much more creativity, inventiveness, hope, dreams, and that makes them very attractive for both the elderly and children, but it is the small, unquestionably, those who know most of this world because they overflow imagination and know how to recreate in it.4. Help externalize emotions.

The child lives exciting stories every day, interprets many characters; dragons, astronauts, kings, princesses and superheroes come alive with their fantasy and help you to express your worries

.5. They develop empathy. In addition, with their imagination they can live other real lives, and learn to put themselves in the place of the other. In their desire to be adults, children fantasize about being older, so they play at being dependent on a supermarket, doctors, builders, firemen, hairdressers, imitating in the game what they know about adult life, and that is very positive to recognize and learn the world around them. Our task is to teach them the difference between fantasy and reality, although a child who flies with his imagination or makes animals human, knows that in reality it is not like that.

To finish today I leave one of my phrases: "Fantasy is not a story, but the story is fantasy."
