Materials

  • An empty can with the plastic top
  • A cutter
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Tape measure
  • Glue or white glue
  • Markers

How to make, step by step, a tin box

1. Use an empty can to make up your piggy bank, it is preferable that you use one that has a plastic lid. P

2. Ask an adult to make a slot with the cuter on the lid of what will be your piggy bank to put the coins.

3. The piggy bank slot should look like the picture.

4. Cut out a rectangle of cardboard that can wrap the can. Its height has to be a little smaller than that of the can so that the plastic lid can be put on. The width must be one centimeter more than the circumference of the can to be able to overlap the paper when it sticks.

5. Decorate the cardboard by attaching your photo or with drawings. Stick the cardboard in the can. The hot glue is the best, since it cools quickly while with the tail you have to wait around a day. In this case, secure the paper with rubbers while drying.
