Fables and children's stories with moral
In a flower garden
there was a large fountain,
whose beautiful pylon served
from a pond to carps, and other fish;
only to irrigation
the gardener attends,
so that meanwhile peces the water fish to live do not have.
Seeing such misrule,
his master rebukes him;
Well, even if you want flowers,
delight in the fish you want too.
And the rude gardener,
so punctual obeys him,
that the plants do not water
so that the pylon water does not waste.
After some time
the master to the garden returns;
he finds the flowers dry,
and angrily says of this luck:
Man, do not water so much
that I run out of fish;
do not care so much about them,
that without flowers, great barbarian, leave me.
The maxim is trite,
the more it repeats itself:
do not write who does not know how to unite utility with delight.
Moraleja
: The perfection of a work consists in the union of the useful and the pleasant.
