For some children reading is a painful job, they almost see it as a small punishment, and competing with television, computers, game consoles and games is a daily battle. If they observe that

the moment of reading is a moment of rest, gratifying and relaxing for adults, (often stressed by the life we lead), they will imitate us, and reading will become a very pleasant moment for them. Getting it is our task, how? 1- Currently on the market there are children's stories for all ages, even for babies. Exaggerating our voice, our expression, the way we recite, sing, are things that will make us pay more attention to all the younger children.

If we choose stories with a lot of color , attractive images that give life to our characters, we will have a lot of livestock.2- If we also choose

short, repetitive texts, with rhyme and most importantly according to their age, it will make it easier to understand them. 3- If the protagonists of our story are themselves, it will be much more interesting.

4- Motivating children to express themselves and

answering all their questions will always be very positive. 5- Is our son fascinated by horses? The motor world? The fantastic adventures? The stories of princesses? We will then choose the stories with that theme.

5- When the children are a little older, they can con come with us to the bookstores or libraries

, that will make them decide themselves and it will be more exciting and above all, it will awaken their interest in the books. 6- If we manage to have a child read regularly, and that in his day to day there is 'the story time', how about before going to sleep ?, will undoubtedly rest better and have a better school performance.And finally, I leave you a sentence by Günter Grass: 'There is no show more beautiful than the look of a child who reads'.
