Marisa Alonso Santamaría, poet specialized in children, has given us this beautiful poem about the moon so that you can read aloud to your children.

Poem The waiting for the moon

He carried the moon

two hours of waiting,

to entertain himself

ate a pear.

After boring

a little melon,

plum, apple,

and a peach.

The lazy sun,

when it finally came,

the face to the moon,

fattest found.
