Materials
- 1 tall candle
- 1 candle holder

Experiment: How to light a candle from a distance
1. Light a candle and put it in the holder.
2. Turn off the candle. In
3. Immediately turn on a watch and close it to the smoke of the candle, near the wick, you will see how it turns on!
The smoke that comes out of the candle when it is turned off still has traces of wax in gaseous form. The wax is what keeps the candle lit, so if we bring a match to the smoke it can re-ignite the wick.
