Child psychomotricity plays a very important role in the first years of life of our children. Knowing how to approach it through music and its benefits, complements more positively in all the psycho-evolutionary and affective aspects.

Psychomotricity in children is used on a daily basis, children play, jump, run, grab elements constantly and use movement as a form of expression.

Musical game to enhance children's psychomotricity

Many times psychomotor skills are linked to music. It is proven that performing movements at a constant pace and maintaining a fixed time schedule helps to develop motor exercises in a more consolidated way.

To carry it out we present a very fun activity in which the relationship between psychomotor skills and music, is very well reflected. We present the Parachute, a giant canvas full of colors that stimulates the senses and full of color and emotions any activity.

The song'Somos Batucado' of our musical methodology is an ideal piece to carry it out. Its musical structure is very rhythmic and invites movement. We will use it in the following way:

- Unfold the parachute and hold it with your hands. Al - By listening to the different rhythms, we execute the movements according to the rhythm of the music, exchanging the psychomotor actions.

How this game benefits children

With this parachute game we develop the 4 indispensable fields in psychomotricity:

1.

Body scheme: Children express themselves through their body and make movements up and down, in front and behind. 2.

Laterality: Make movements to one side or the other taking consciousness of space. 3.

Balance: Small children maintain stability when performing any motor exercise. 4.

Motricity: They use fine motor skills when grasping the parachute and thick when it comes to dancing, jumping and running. All these fields are related to the Tempo and the Musical rhythm. When adding music to such exercises, we force the children to maintain a fixed structure of movements with which in a dynamic, sonorous and visual way they internalize the movements and thus have greater awareness of the space to express themselves.

Helping our children in this sense is a very simple task following these guidelines. You will have a great time and you will also share a fun and entertaining experience with them.
