In Carnival, children enjoy dressing up dressed in their favorite characters or animals and play to imitate them. Now you can make a nice flower costume with a paper and cardboard plate, a craft for children.
The making of this costume is very simple. You only need materials such as paper plates, colored cardboard and paint to make a flower mask. Combine it with green clothes to make the stem of the flower, and your son will have a complete costume.
Materials
- Paper plate
- Yellow paint
- Black paint or marker pen
- Purple card stock
- Red cardboard
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Brush
- Rubber band
How to make a flower mask with paper plate
1. Paint the center of the plate, on the back, with yellow paint. Mark your eyes with a pencil and cut out the holes.
2. Cut out the flower petal template, which will help you do all of them. You can download the template HERE.
3. Place the template on the purple card and cut out eight petals (depending on the size of the plate). Do the same with the red card. You can also use EVA rubber.
4. Put glue at the base of the petals and see placing them around the plate, overlapping them slightly and so that no holes remain.
5. Paint the smile with a little black paint or a marker.
6. Make two holes in the edge of the plate at eye level. Pass a piece of elastic rubber through one of the holes and tie a knot. Do the same with the other side, and you have the mask ready.
