Animal costumes are very common in Carnival, because children like them a lot. To complete a simple costume you only need this headband with mouse ears, made with felt and very easy.

Economical materials and a little imagination is all you need to make an original costume for your child. Accompany this craft with brown (or gray) clothes, a cloth tail and a little fantasy makeup, and you'll have a great disguise.

Materials

  • Brown felt
  • Flower fabric
  • Brown bow
  • Pink bow
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Brush
  • Plastic headband

How to make a mouse ears

1. Line the headband with a brown bow. Put a little glue on one end and watch the bow around the headband carefully. You can put another glue point in the middle, and again at the other end. Cut what is over.

2. Cut out the template from the mouse ears. You can download the template from HERE. Remember to also cut the tab to fix it to the headband.

3. Lay the template on the brown felt and mark two ears. Cut them out

4. Cut out the inside of the pairs on the paper template. Place it on a fabric of flowers that you like, mark the silhouette twice and cut them out.

5. Place the ears with the headband on top, so that they are centered. Put glue on the tab and close it around the headband. Press for a few moments so that it is stuck and do the same with the other.

6. On the front side, glue the inside of the ears with flower fabric, so that it is centered. Make a ribbon with pink ribbon, cut the ends and stick it on the side of one of the ears.
