The right to protection against child labor says the following: The child must be protected against all forms of abandonment, cruelty and exploitation. It will not be subject to any type of trafficking and the child should not be allowed to work before an appropriate minimum age ; in no case will be dedicated or allowed to engage in any occupation or employment that mayharm your health or education or impede your physical, mental or moral development. In the most disadvantaged countries the right to education is conspicuous by its absence and therefore the incorporation of children into work is usually very early. It is a fact to eradicate as much as possible, since the work tends to interfere in the education of the children and it must be ensured that the children have a schooling and an education.

The right of children not to work The figures provided by the studies carried out by UNICEF

are convincing; it is estimated that there are more than 150 million working children between the ages of 5 and 14, many of them in

precarious situations . 70% of the children who are forced to work do so in agriculture, but the sectors are very varied, including the military. The reasons for child exploitation -Extreme poverty and social marginalization:

It happens when the child's family lacks the resources necessary for survival, which causes the child to have to work in order to support himself and his family.

- Child exploitation networks: The trade in children is one of the scourges of the world in which we live, a trade that uses children for purely economic purposes.

- Armed conflicts: In places where there is a war, children are usually an easy victim when it comes to exercising an abuse of force.

- Parental pressure or irresponsibility: It is when the parents do not take care of their child and use it, at times, to obtain an economic benefit of their own.

- Orphanage: There are children who remain orphaned by their father and mother and are forced to work in order to survive.

The poorest and rural children are the easiest target 70% of children in situations of child exploitation

are in Africa and Asia. For example, in sub-Saharan Africa 1 out of every 3 children is forced to work, for a total of 69 million children, while in South Asia the figure is 44 million.

Mining children , children handling chemical products or heavy and dangerous machinery, or child construction workers, are examples of dangerous jobs for adults that a child should never perform. But the worst part is the works that undermine their human dignity, such as prostitution or child pornography. We must make more emphasis on children's right not to work and protect them against workplace abuse.
