The three palms is a beautiful poetry by Marisa Alonso Santamaría that transmits an important lesson to children. A children's poem that teaches children to enjoy life, to value small things and to take away from what does not.

It is about teaching children that we only have one life and we should live it in the best possible way, avoiding being always angry or looking for a fight, and trying to be better people every day. A childish poem with moral to transmit positivism to children.

Childish poems with moral: The three palm trees

On a very distant island,

there were only three palm trees

that they discussed daily,

to see which was more beautiful.

Her friends, the seagulls,

saw them fight

and although they were so different

they loved them equally,

The first was thin,

the second a little fat,

the third very short

with thick and short branches. Ga

The seagulls asked:

"why do you fight palm trees?"

and although they loved each other,

they kept arguing among themselves.

One day the thinnest one,

suddenly changed the color,

it became very yellow

and soon it was defoliated.

All immediately

stopped fighting,

palm tree very sick

just thought about healing.

They took care of her, they spoiled her,

not a fight was heard,

so that she would soon be healed

there was not even an argument

At last the sick palm tree

regained its color,

and again they fought

without learning the lesson.

Days and months passed,

a long year passed,

"that if I am the most beautiful

that the most beautiful is me"

When they least expected it,

the smallest one died,

overnight ,

without saying goodbye.

And they were devastated

thinking about what happened,

fighting for their beauty

does not make any sense.

They decided to be happy

after the hard setback,

we are all different, solo we only live once! Ga

Seagulls from the sky

do not hear them fight,

looking healthy and beautiful,

they just want to enjoy.

Moral: Life is one, enjoy it with the beings you love and you will be happy.
