Making a finger puppet is very simple: you just have to choose the design you want, draw it on felt, cut and paste the pieces. You can create several to use with different fingers, for example animals.
Materials
- White Felt
- Blue Felt
- Permanent Blue or Fabric Pen
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Tips:You can paint your eyes and mouth with a marker or you can sew it using blue thread.
How to make a rabbit puppet step by step
1. Draw the silhouette of the bunny on a piece of paper, cut it out and copy it in duplicate on white felt.
2. Draw the inside of the ears on blue felt using the same template and cut it out. Glue it on one of the white felt silhouettes.
3. Draw the face of the bunny with a blue marker. You can also draw it in pencil and review with blue thread.
4. Put glue on the edges of one of the silhouettes. Make them match and squeeze so that it sticks well, make sure there is enough space to put your finger on the puppet. When it dries, it will be ready!
