Once the exclusive breastfeeding ends, according to experts in the sixth month of life, solid foods should be introduced gradually, following the nutritional and nutritional needs of the small ones, and maintaining the contribution of breast milk or formula until, at least, two years of life.

According to the specialists of the National Institute of Pediatrics of Mexico and the Spanish Association of Pediatrics, fruits, vegetables and cereals are included in the baby's diet from the sixth month, while meats, fish, legumes and egg are advised from the eighth.

Types of food in the eighth month of the baby
