Memory is the capacity we have to retain information and dispose of it when we need it. Memory arises from the moment of birth, although unconsciously and evolves as the baby grows.

Memory and learning go hand in hand, therefore, it is very important to stimulate it since they are very small adapting to the evolutionary stage in which they are, since many of the stimuli that the child receives will be stored in his memory forever.

Tips to stimulate memory in early childhood

- Establish a secure attachment attending to their needs with affection but without overprotecting them. It will increase your security and your self-esteem and, therefore, also your disposition toward learning.

- Establish routines of food, rest, hygiene and play from birth.

- Play with your baby to the cuckoo-after taking advantage of moments like dressing him (permanence of the object). Esc - Hide toys to search for them using all kinds of materials and textures (boxes, wrapping paper or silver paper, bury objects in sand, etc.) to stimulate all sensory modalities (visual, tactile, auditory).

- Take every opportunity to

show him new objects and situations , repeating their names or explaining them to increase their vocabulary. If you already know how to speak, ask him to name them.- Simple puzzles and stacking and matching toys will enhance your visual and spatial memory. Cá - Sing songs (children learn better through the songs) and read stories while he flips through them, as it will help him identify objects and situations, as well as develop logical and temporal reasoning.

- Encourages their autonomy la and the search for their own solutions to their 'small' problems to favor their resolutive capacity (for example, allow them to manage just to get a toy that they do not reach before giving it directly to them.
