If this year you want to make homemade Christmas decorations and so the children spend a fun time and also save, we propose you to make this Christmas wreath made only with rolls of toilet paper.
It is a classic Christmas wreath made with recycled material. It is a very simple craft to do and will help children to strengthen concentration and motor coordination as well as living the Christmas spirit.
Materials
- Paintbrush
- Marker pen
- 6 rolls of toilet paper
- Red pinecone paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Tweezers
- Green paint
How to make, step by step, a cardboard Christmas wreath
1. Paint green rolls of paper hygienic. It preferably uses watercolor or tempera.
2. Cut the rolls into strips and pack them to have an oval shape.
3. Join them by one end with glue. You can help with tweezers until they dry and take consistency. Form a flower with them.
4. When you have all the flowers, unite them together in a circle.
5. Finally decorate 3 of the cardboard flowers with a little red pinecone paper and stick them on the crown.
