The eagle and the beetle. Aesop's fable

There was a hare being chased by an eagle, and looking lost she asked a beetle for help, begging her to save him.

He asked the beetle to the eagle that forgave his friend. But the eagle, despising the insignificance of the beetle, devoured the hare in his presence.

Since then, seeking revenge, the beetle observed the places where the eagle laid its eggs, and making them roll, threw them to the ground. Seeing the eagle lying in the place wherever he went, he turned to Zeus asking for a safe place to deposit his future little ones.

Zeus offered to place them in his lap, but the beetle, seeing the escape tactic, made a small clay ball, flew and dropped it on Zeus' lap. Then Zeus got up to shake off that dirt, and he knocked the eggs over without realizing it. That's why since then, the eagles do not lay eggs at the time when the beetles come to fly.
