Story of Christmas spiders for children

Legend has it that one day the citizens were cleaning their houses on December 24, thinking about receiving with new energies the arrival of the holidays.

In one of the many houses in Germany lived a family of spiders. As all the people were ordering their houses, they had to go from one place to another trying not to be discovered. They observed then a family that put a tree decorated with many colored spheres, there they wanted to put their new home.

When the family went to sleep the spiders went down to see what that beautiful Christmas tree was, but they started to play and forgot their cobwebs. Santa came and saw the spiders playing and he had a lot of fun, but he could not leave them there, the family would be very sad if he found all those cobwebs in his beautiful tree.

Then Santa asked them if they really wanted to live in that tree and before the positive response of the spiders, blew to turn them into ornaments that became one of the typical accessories of Christmas tree ornaments.

Today there are numerous types of Christmas decorations, and each of them has a different style. However, the legend has it that all the ornaments were born of this same situation in which Santa Claus chose spiders to become spheres and stars, while the cobwebs became the tinsel we use today to decorate the Christmas tree.
