Children's poem about the value of recycling

There was a wastepaper bin on the sidewalk, that complained to people

for throwing papers out.

First a little girl passed by

eating a treat,

and when she threw the wrapper

she honked loudly.

The girl looked scared

and immediately understood,

looking at the wastebasket

picked up what she threw.

An elegant lady

who was eating a cake,

though she passed by her side

to the floor threw the paper.

When the trash can see

he touched the horn again,

and this time very angry

shouted aloud, you swine!
