Baby food for 3 to 6 months
At this stage of the baby, the foods that are part of your diet are the following: La • Breast milk
• Infant formulas: Start milk.
• Gluten-free cereal porridge: It is introduced between the 4th and 6th months.
• Gluten-free cereals: Rice and corn.
• Fruits: 4th - 6th month. They are one of the most important sources of vitamins. Often they are introduced one by one, with several days of separation between them, to check that the baby tolerates them, and that is getting used to its aroma and flavor.
Usually start with the orange, apple, pear or banana , avoiding those fruits that are considered more allergenic until at least one year of age, as is the case of strawberries or peaches.• Vegetables and Vegetables: 4th - 6th month.
The usual thing is to start with the mashed potatoes that contain carrot and potato, and continue with the zucchini, onion and green beans after 6 months. You can add a splash of olive oil to the puree, but better avoid the salt. • Chicken and Turkey: 5th - 6th month.
Start with boiled and skinless chicken and turkey, the easiest to digest. • Water: 5th month. Especially in the hot months.
NOTE: Weekly menu for a baby of 5 - 6 months of age with all the foods of this stage already introduced.
